About the Event

***Reading Until Dawn Con is an 18+ event. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the event.***

Reading Until Dawn Con 2017 will have a slightly different structure while maintaining the same energy and message of the first con. Rather than a full weekend con, RUDC17 will be a mini one-day con, to be held on Saturday, June 3rd. Like the first con, RUDC17 is all about breaking down the barriers between authors and their readers. June 3rd will be a day of games and activities. There will be no panels, or lengthy discussions. Because here at RUDC, we like to dance to the beat of our own tambourine, even our signing will be a little different. Our Books and Booze Signing is for attendees only and will consist of more casually formatted round-table hangout with authors and readers...and booze (go figure). (I mean, who doesn’t want a beer or two while signing books?) And, of course for our night owls, there will be pillow forts and slumber party games going on into the night.

Cancellation policy

Life happens and things don't always go according to plan. If you find yourself unable to come party we will refund 100% of your ticket through March 20th. After, a 50% refund of your ticket will be given. There will be no refunds given after May 1st, 2017.

About the Organizer

Casey Harris-Parks came into the world holding a book, and still hasn't let go. She has held jobs at libraries, bookstores, had two internships with a publisher, and continues to review books for Literary Escapism. The only thing she could possibly love more than reading is meeting her favorite authors, which is why she decided to create Reading Until Dawn Con. She hopes to have all of her favorite authors in one place -- having fun playing games, hanging out, and of course, talking about books.
